🧩 PP-EPDM-TD10 – Polypropylene + EPDM + Talc 10%

(Semi-elastic olefinic material from the PP-EPDM family, modified with 10% talc (TD10) for a balance between flexibility, light stiffness, and moderate thermal stability)

🔹 What is PP-EPDM-TD10

PP-EPDM-TD10 is a thermoplastic compound resulting from polypropylene (providing the structure) and EPDM (for flexibility and shock absorption), with fine talc (~10%) added for additional rigidity.

It is a softer and more elastic variant than PP-EPDM-TD20 or TD30, ideal for parts that must withstand repeated deformation without cracking. It is used for exterior and interior automotive components where impact resistance and a matte finish are required (bumpers, covers, and lower guards).

🔧 Composition

ComponentTypical ProportionRole
PP (Polypropylene)60–65 %Structural matrix, rigidity
EPDM25–30 %Elasticity, impact resistance
Talc (TD10)10 %Increases thermal stability and moderate rigidity
Additives< 5 %Protection and finishing
