PLA+PBAT is a balanced bio-composite. At ReplastMD, we treat it as a versatile solution for non-structural interior parts. PLA provides hardness and mechanical strength, while PBAT adds the necessary flexibility to prevent brittleness. This combination results in a soft-touch thermoplastic that is 100% compostable, making it a sustainable choice for decorative covers and lightweight housings.

- Polymer Base: PLA (50–70%) + PBAT (30–50%).
- Density: ~ 1.22–1.25 g/cm³.
- Processing Temp: 170 – 190 °C.
- Chemical Group: Aliphatic-aromatic polyesters.
- Scent: Sweet smell when heated (burnt sugar).

🔧 Welding Temperature and Methods
