🔹 What is PEEK+HT
PEEK+HT is a modified version of standard PEEK, stabilized with additional aromatic chains and anti-oxidation additives. Variants like PEEK-HTA or PEEK-HT30 are engineered for applications exceeding 300 °C without losing mechanical properties. It offers metallic-like rigidity, perfect dimensional stability, and total chemical resistance to oils, fuels, and acids.

- Density: 1.31–1.36 g/cm³.
- Melting Point: ≈ 345–360 °C.

🔩 Material Compatibility
- ✅ Compatible: PEEK, PEEK+GF, PEEK+CF, PPS, PPSU, PES, PEI.
- ⚠️ Good Compatibility: PPA, PEEK+PA, PPS+CF.
- ❌ Incompatible: PP, PE, PS, ABS, PC, PET (completely different melting points).
💡 ReplastMD Recommendation: Use PEEK+HT or standard PEEK rods at 400 °C. Uniform heating and slow cooling are crucial to avoid internal stresses. Keep the area pristine — surface oxidation at these temperatures can cause loss of finish.
🧠 How to Identify PEEK+HT
- Engraved marking: >PEEK+HT<, >VICTREX HT<, >VESTAKEEP HT<, >TECAPEEK HT<.
- Texture: Matte surface, black or dark gray, extremely rigid.
- ReplastMD practical test: If the part remains rock-solid under 300 °C hot air and has PEEK+HT markings, it’s confirmed. Burns with a clean flame and neutral scent.
