🔹 What is PEEK+Glass

PEEK+Glass is a high-performance semi-crystalline composite where glass fibers increase rigidity by 50–80% compared to pure PEEK. It offers reduced thermal deformation and exceptional creep resistance. It is perfect for industrial and automotive applications where parts must work at continuous temperatures up to 260°C with near-zero dimensional variation.

  • ⚠️ Good Compatibility: PPA, PEEK+PA, PEEK+PEI.
  • Incompatible: PP, PE, PS, ABS, PC, PET (completely different melting points).

💡 ReplastMD Recommendation: Use PEEK or PEEK+GF rods at 380 °C. Heat uniformly and avoid overheating — oxidized glass fibers can generate internal bubbling. Slow cooling is key to a dense, stress-free weld.

🧠 How to Identify PEEK+Glass

  • Engraved marking: >PEEK+GF30<, >VICTREX GL30<, >VESTAKEEP GF<.
  • Texture: Semi-glossy, light gray or beige, fine finish.
  • ReplastMD practical test: If the part is rigid, heavy, and does not soften under 260 °C hot air, it is confirmed. Burns with a clean flame and neutral scent.
