🧩 PA9T – Heat-Resistant Aromatic Polyamide
(A high-performance aromatic polyamide recognized for its exceptional temperature and chemical resistance. Due to its fully aromatic structure, PA9T maintains its mechanical properties at continuous temperatures over 200 °C and up to 260 °C peak.)
🔹 What is PA9T
PA9T belongs to a new generation of high-heat polyamides designed specifically for the automotive and electronics industries. Compared to PA6T or PA6I/6T, PA9T has extremely low water absorption, which provides superior dimensional and electrical stability. It is used in components near the engine, electrical connectors, EGR parts, and fuel fittings exposed to harsh chemicals.

🔩 Material Compatibility
- ✅ Compatible: PA9T, PA6T, PA6I/6T.
- ⚠️ Partially Compatible: PA66, PA6, PPA (different melting points).
- ❌ Incompatible: PA12, PP, PE, PBT, PVC (thermally incompatible).
💡 ReplastMD Recommendation: Weld at ~310 °C using PA9T-GF rods. Avoid overheating above 330 °C, as the material becomes brittle and discolors.

- Engraved marking: >PA9T<, >GENESTAR<, >AMILAN<, >GRIVORY HT<.
- Texture: Rigid, dense, slightly glossy with visible glass fibers.
- ReplastMD practical test: Brittle with a clear sound when tapped; no elasticity. Flame: burns slowly with a faint aromatic scent.
