🧾 RePlastMD Warranty for Plastic Repair

At RePlastMD, every job is carried out with precision and experience, and each client receives a quality guarantee for the performed work.
It is important to understand that plastic welding is a decorative and functional process, with characteristics very different from metal welding. Therefore, the warranty has specific conditions.

🔹 1. What the RePlastMD warranty covers

  • Proper repair of cracks, breaks, or damaged plastic areas.
  • Restoration of the part’s shape and strength within the material’s physical limits.
  • Use of compatible materials only (plastic rods of the same type).
  • Visual finishing quality: restored geometry, aligned surface, no major aesthetic defects.
  • Durability of the repair under normal vehicle operation.

🔹 2. What is not covered

  • Damage caused by new impacts, excessive pressure, deformation, or mechanical force.
  • Manual strength testing or intentional bending and impact.
  • Subsequent interventions on the repaired part (heating, cutting, gluing, etc.).
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals, or incorrect installation.
  • Any defect appearing in another area not related to the repaired zone.

🔹 3. Important clarification about plastic welding

  • Plastic welding is a decorative and functional process, not structural.
  • It cannot be compared to metal welding, which can withstand strong impacts and heavy loads.
  • Even when done professionally, plastic welding has a natural limit of strength and is not designed for force testing.
  • However, a properly executed weld holds firmly during normal operation, vibrations, and mounting.

🔹 4. Warranty period

  • The standard warranty period for plastic welding is 3 months from the date of completion.
  • If a visible defect occurs due to the welding process, the part will be repaired free of charge under warranty.
  • The warranty does not include disassembly, reinstallation, or transport costs.

🔹 5. Recommendations for maintaining the repair

  • Avoid applying pressure to the repaired area.
  • Do not manually test the strength (risk of cracking).
  • Ensure proper installation and secure mounting of the part.
  • If a crack appears, visit the workshop for inspection — do not attempt home repairs.

🔹 6. Conclusion

The RePlastMD warranty provides clients with trust, transparency, and fairness, as well as a realistic understanding of the limits of plastic welding.
A correctly repaired plastic part will look great and perform its function perfectly, but it should not be treated like a metal component designed for mechanical stress tests.
